Private by design

The tool knows the statement formats of 19 banks and cards, including Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, Citi, Amex, Discover, Apple Card, PNC, TD, Ally, Chime, SoFi, Citizens, Venmo and Cash App. If it can’t tell your columns apart, it asks you to match them.

Is my bank file uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser reads the file and does the math on your own device. The file is never sent to us or stored, and closing the tab clears it. To reword the summary, the page sends only rounded totals, with no merchant names, dates or account numbers.

Why doesn’t it count my PayPal or Venmo payments?

A bank line for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle names only the payment app, not where the money went. It could be rent, a friend or a betting deposit. Those lines are listed for you to review and are never counted as betting.

How do I get a CSV from my bank?

In your bank or card website, open the account, look for Download or Export transactions, and pick CSV. Choose the last 12 months if you can. PDF statements won’t work here.
